Move from Jobber to Fieldset in a day

Jobber lets you export everything as CSV. Here's where each export lives, what Fieldset does with it, and how to import it. Or send us the files and we'll do it for you, free, the same day.

Step 1

Get your data out of Jobber

Jobber emails each export to you as a CSV. Big client lists come as several files of 1,500 clients each; keep them all.

Clients

Clients → More Actions → Export Clients

Pick CSV. Filter the list to All first if you want archived clients too.

Jobs

Jobs → filter to All → Export

Past and upcoming jobs, with totals and status.

Quotes

Quotes → filter to All → Export

Invoices

Invoices → filter to All → Export

Paid invoices mark their job paid and fill in each client's lifetime value.

Products & services

Settings → Products & Services → Export

Menu names checked Nov 3, 2026. If Jobber has moved something, ask their support for a CSV; it's your data.

Step 2

What each Jobber column becomes

Nothing is thrown away: anything Fieldset has no field for goes in the customer's notes.

Display Name (or First + Last Name, or Company Name)→ Customer name
Mobile, Main, Home and Work Phone #s→ Phone (mobile first); the other numbers go in notes
E-mails→ Email (the first one); extras go in notes
Service Street 1, Street 2, City, State, Zip code→ Address (the service address, not billing)
Billing address, if it's different→ Kept in notes
Extra properties (one row each)→ One customer, with the other properties listed in notes
Archived→ An "archived" tag
Tags→ Tags (split on commas or semicolons)
Lead source→ Lead source
Notes→ Notes
Created date→ Customer since

Step 3

Import it into Fieldset CRM

  1. 01

    Pick Jobber

    In Fieldset, go to Settings → Import & export → Customers, and choose Coming from: Jobber.

  2. 02

    Choose every client file

    Select all the CSVs Jobber emailed you at once. Clients split across files, or listed once per property, come together as one customer each.

  3. 03

    Check and import

    Every column is filled in for you; change any you like. Customers already in Fieldset are matched by phone, email, or name and address, and only get missing details added.

  4. 04

    Then jobs, quotes, invoices

    Import those next from the same screen, in that order. Imported jobs never send texts, review requests or reminders about past work.
